My young horse Remington has a fast moving attention span, as most youngsters do. Helping him learn how to focus without shutting down his delicious curiosity and zest for life is a balancing act which requires patience, unconditional love and trust.
Because animals operate on different frequencies than humans, their attention spans require them to sense and digest stimulus rapidly. There is so much we can learn from their quick-thinking abilities and most importantly from their inspiring way of processing information and then immediately letting it go.
I am truly blessed to have such a happy young man whose refreshing equine perspectives help keep me fresh, alive and loving life.
