“When we tug at a single thing in nature, we find it attached to the rest of the world.” ……… John Muir
This wonderful quote was the ‘word for the day’ on one of my favorite websites www.gratefulness.org.
Animals have a deep understanding of this divine truth….that we are all attached, connected, interwoven into the fabric of the universe. I don’t think they cogitate upon it’s profound implications, they simply live from moment to moment, day to day….accepting what nature brings them and by doing this, they play out their role in the tapestry of being. By simply remaining true to their own nature (rather than thinking about it, questioning it or having discussions about it), they participate in the ebb and flow of life…..all the time.
When we live as the animals do, we experience profound, daily joy and the uplifting realization that there is a master plan, a beautiful artwork of divine order….of which we are already a part and of which we will be a part until the end of time.
